Maureen Lynch, MS, ANP-BC, ACHPN, AOCN, FPCN, has an extensive clinical background in oncology and palliative nursing. She has written numerous articles and presented national and locally on related topics.
She assisted in establishing the outpatient palliative care program at DFCI and in the development of the Palliative Nursing Fellowship at DFCI/BWH.
She serves on national faculty for the End-of-Life Nursing Education Curriculum (ELNEC) project and is Co-director of the Art & Science of Palliative Nursing (ASPN) course.
Recent projects have included co-editor and author for HPNA Core Curriculum for Advance Practice Nurses, faculty for Oncology Nursing Society regional pain, and education projects and development of communication educational module for oncology nurses.
She holds national certification as a nurse practitioner, an advance practice oncology nurse, and an advance practice palliative nurse. She is recognized by the Hospice and Palliative Nursing Society as a Fellow of Palliative Care Nursing.
